JP Gendron

I am a Photographer based high in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah.  Living in the mountains, traveling the world, riding bikes, and painting lines through fresh snow are the passions that bind my photography.  I am fascinated by people, cultures, creative design, and mountains, all of which feed me inspiration and push me to go farther.

As a cycling guide in Europe, I led groups through the Alps, Pyrenees, Dolomites, various wine regions, Mediterranean coasts, and followed the Tour de France.  While guiding, I began acting as a trip photographer for my groups.  My love for photography fully developed during this time and has since been the focus of all my pursuits.  In between guided trips, I organized many of my own adventures, including a solo mountain biking trip on the Haute Route through the Swiss Alps.

Most recently I have worked as a mechanic and photographer for Cannondale and GT bicycle companies, and have provided Location Scouting services in the Wasatch, for film productions.  As my passion for photography and travel continues to evolve, I am looking forward to begin a wide range of winter projects.  Let it snow!
